Bloggy Giveaway Carnival
I just found this AWESOME blog. And she does a quarterly giveaway carnival. This is too cool!! I could spend hours looking at all of these blogs! They are all so cool. I've decided to participate for the first time and going forward! So, make sure you go back and check out all the others on there after you pick a book from my website.
OK...so here is what you need to do:
1. Go to http://www.usborneofmaine.com/ and pick out any one title, $10 or under.
2. Leave a comment on my blog with the title you would like to win.
3. Make sure you leave your blog name (with a place where I can find your email address). If you don't have a blog, just leave an email address where I can reach you.
4. The contest will end on Feb. 3, 2008 (Sunday) at 12:00midnight (EST). I will announce the winner on Monday.
5. The contest is open to US residents only. I will contact you regarding shipping next week.
While browsing my website please make sure to enter the drawing for $50 in free books. I also do a monthly drawing for a free title for everyone who creates a wishlist. So, make sure to create a wish list if you want a chance at winning titles each month. (I pick one title from one wish list each month) And if you would like to host an e-show or learn more about becoming part of my Usborne Team please let me know!
Good luck!!

Home Made Items
I just wanted to post a few pictures of some things I've made for Bennett recently. They are nothing amazing but are just too cute. The hat and mittens are from wool sweaters I have been able to purchase VERY cheaply at thrift type stores. The hat was actually a collar of a turtle neck sweater that was cashmere. The gloves are from the sleeve (and the rest of the body of the sweater I used to make gloves for Gram for christmas). The are super soft and I just love them. They look so cute on Bennett. As you can see the gloves are not perfect. I cut them by eye and then sewed them so nothing to intricate but they work!

Finsihing up Shingling
Daddy and Aiden hanging out on the scaffolding. Aiden took this picture of Erik while he was working on the siding. We are almost there with the second side of the house. The rest will get done in the spring/summer.

Playing in the Snow
Just a few photo's I wanted to share of us all playing in the snow. Aiden LOVES being out in the snow. He is enjoying making snow angels. No pictures of that yet. And we have not been able to make a snowman yet either. Snow just hasn't been good for that! Enjoy the pictures! How do you like Aiden's snow fort??

A Cold Winter Day
Aiden was "so cold" one morning so ran in and jumped under the covers in the living room while I made breakfast. He just looked so cute so I ran in and snapped a picture.
