How can a Bookaholic pick just one??? Jane Austen books are always good to fall back on when you are desperate for a good read...as are the Hornblower series by C.S. Forester. I recently reread The Count of Monte Cristo - highly recommend that too. I could go on and on...

Thanks for offering these and while it doesn't matter to us really which one...we are studying the Middle Ages right now so the castle one would be right up that alley.

My favorite fiction book would definitely have to be the Christian fiction "Not My Will" by Francena H. Arnold! It's a major tearjerker! The reason that I love it is that it really portrays well the life-changing decision to follow Christ and the joys of the Christian life despite the trials.
